I'm sorry but this page is now under construction.
I'm now a member of Solid State Research Group, Department of Mathematical Sciences, Graduate School of Engineering, Osaka Prefecture University.
Prof. Kouichi Ichikawa, Dr. Kojiro Mimura and me belong to this group. Prof. Ichikawa has great experimental skill for soft x-ray spectroscopy. I am learning the skill from him. Dr. Mimura is a jovial and hardworking researcher. I am also learning theoretical approach to the core level spectroscopy from Prof. Satoshi Tanaka and Prof. Takayuki Uozumi.
Our present research subject is strongly correlated electron systems, such as transition metal or rare-earth compounds. We have plans to study experimentally electronic stuructures of those materials by photoemission or x-ray-emission spectroscopies in synchrotron radiation facilities. Now we are applying a experiment using x-ray emission spectrometer at Photon Factory (KEK, Tsukuba, Japan).
I was a graduate school student of Prof. Mitsuaki Nishijima's Lab. in Kyoto Univ., and studied the interaction of simple gas molecules with Si single-crystalline surface mainly by electron-energy-loss spectroscopy. And I still wonder how benzene molecule adsorbs on Si surfaces
